The Parks and Recreation Administration Division staff support and coordinate Parks departments. Examples of the services provided include picnic pavilion reservations, park use permits, special events permits, registration for department programs and classes, support to the Park Advisory Commission, major grant administration, land acquisition, marketing and public information coordination, and other management functions.
Problem-solving participants sought
Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation is working with master’s students from the University of Michigan School of Information to help improve how city parks are found. We are now seeking volunteers from the community to help this effort by participating in an exercise (written) related to navigating to parks, and then emailing your ideas. The whole process is expected to take ~15-30 minutes to complete. Your insights will help create a better park experience for everyone! All participants will be entered into a drawing for a $50 prepaid debit card, but you have to email your idea(s) by this Thursday, April 15.
