Parking Options
*IMPORTANT: Due to the marathon, PARKING OPTIONS 2 and 3 may not be accessible until after 1 PM.
For ease, we advise parking at Furstenberg Nature Area and walking along the wooded path to Gallup Park from there. The entrance to Furstenberg is directly across from Huron High School’s main Fuller Road entrance. (WALK TIME: 10-15 minutes, 0.8 miles)
If arriving after 1pm, Gallup Park’s Public Boat Launch parking lot is the closest option, but there is limited parking here. Once parked, walk within Gallup Park along the paved path (with the river on your left) to the Gallup Park building. (WALK TIME: 5 minutes, 0.2 miles)
Also for 1pm or later, the parking lots at Huron High School are a great option. Once you’ve parked, simply take the sidewalk along Fuller Road, crossing the street at the crosswalk to arrive at Gallup Park. (WALK TIME: 8-15 minutes, 0.3-0.8 miles)
