About Us Volunteer Events Trash Trailblazers Youth Volunteers
Welcome to GIVE 365! We are the Parks and Recreation Volunteer and Outreach Program! We work with volunteers to make improvements and enhancements to the Ann Arbor Park system. Did you know there are 159 parks in Ann Arbor? That's a lot of parks! Our partners at Natural Area Preservation take care of the natural areas so most of our volunteer opportunities are in the non-natural park areas, including all of the recreation facilities as well as various city sponsored special events. Hopefully you've seen our volunteers out and about before!
GIVE 365 Volunteer and Outreach Program began in the spring of 2011. It is funded by the voter approved Parks Maintenance and Capital Improvements
Millage. Everything we do with our volunteers is in a city park or a recreation facility. We have a variety of projects, work days and events perfect for individuals and groups. We have featured events with set days and times that you can sign up for and we also have customized outings if you are looking for a group opportunity on a day and time that works for you. GIVE also manages the Adopt-A-Park program so if you are interested in volunteering at your local park in any capacity, we invite you to reach out to us.
Our motto here at GIVE: Anything is Possible.
We specialize in PARKNERSHIPS.
Community engagement is our thing.
Meet our staff!
We have many projects that are perfect for groups and organizations looking to do service. These work great for teambuilding or community engagement! We will work with you to find a date, time, and project that suits your group. We work in about 110 parks and facilities and we can always find one that could benefit from volunteer energy. We work with groups as small as 4 and as big as 50. If you are interested in learning about potential projects, simply send us an email with information about the group size, preferred date, and any details regarding group abilities or interest. We will then take a look at what parks need attention and come up with some options. A typical work day would be 2 hours long but we can adjust as needed. Visit our group volunteer project page for examples of work days that can be tailored to your organization.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities
Too old for camp, too young to work? Volunteering is a great way for tweens and teens to earn service hours and gain work like experiences. The Counselor in Training program is a collaboration between GIVE and our day camp sites at Gallup, Buhr &Fuller Park. CIT volunteers support the camp program and develop leadership skills. Similarly, the Lifeguard In Training is a great opportunity for those interested in volunteering at the pools and gaining knowledge and experience in lifeguarding. Visit our youth volunteer information page for more details on all of our youth volunteer opportunities
