Ann Arb​​or S​​olar S​t​​​ories

1st Thursday of each month​. 7:00-8​:00pm. Virtual.​​​

This one hour, online event is hosted by the GLREA on the first Thursday of each month. Come hear from Ann Arborites who have gone solar, and have a chance to ask them all y​​our questions! Register for "Thursd​ay Night Energy Events" to receive meeting links.​​​​

Neighborhood Swap Day​

Saturday​​, April 13​th​. 10:00am-​3:00pm. Angell Elementary School (1608 S. University Ave).

Give your unwante​​​​d items a new home instead of sending them to the landfill — or find that item you've been looking for, without having to buy it!​ Find a list of accepted donations and RSVP for the event at ​zerow​aste.org/a2swap​. ​Learn more about neighborhood swap days at ​osi.a2gov.org/swapdays.

Spring 2024 FreeTree Giveaway​

Sunday, April 28th​. 10:00am-5​:30pm. Tappan Middle School & Clague Middle School.

The 10,000 Trees Initiative's annual Spring FreeTree Giveaway will take place on April 28th at both Tappan and Clague Middle Schools. Residents of Washtenaw County are eligible to register to receive up to four free trees to take home and plant on their property! Registration has filled up - to join the waitlist, please email Sean Reynolds at sreynolds@a2gov.​org​​. To volunteer at the event, please sign up here.

​​2024 Su​stainability Series

Last Wednesday ​​of each month​. 6:00-7​:30pm. Virtual & In-Person at AADL Downtown.​​​

OSI is bringing the Sustainability Series back in 2024 for another season at the Ann Arbor District Library! Join us in person or online on the last Wednesday every month. Please hold the dates! We look forward to engaging and sharing with you. You can register here for the virtual meetings, but registration is not required to attend in person.

  2. Feb. 28 – Home Energy Rating Disclosure
  3. March 27 – Circular Economy and e-Waste

Would you like to volunteer with the Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations? If yes, join us at one of the following: ​

  • Park Clean Up - On the third Tuesday of each ​month (March - November) from 8:30-10am​, OSI staff have a work day in Bandemer Park​ with GIVE365. Join us to help remove invasive plants​, clean up trash, and more. If you are interested in joining us for a work day, please email Sean Reynolds at sreynol​[email protected]​​​​
