Electrification Expo

​Friday, July 15th, 2022.​ 5:00-9:00pm. ​​Ann Arbor Farmer's Market.

Chat with industry experts on ways to make your home cleaner, greener, and safer! Watch induction cooktop dem​os; see efficient heat pump water heaters & space heating/cooling systems; talk with local residents who are electrifying their homes; meet local contractors installing all-electric appliances; and more!​​ Register your interest in attending here​.

Resident Race to Zero Energy Challenge

July 1st - December 31st, 2022. 

The ​Energy Challenge is a home efficiency competition in partnership with Green Home Institute. Participants will ​join a cohort of other Ann Arbor residents and will work to improve their home's efficiency ​by reducing their gas, electric, and water usage. ​To learn more, please visit the Energy Challenge webpage​.

Ann Arbor S​​olar S​t​​ories​

1st Thursday of each month​. 7:00-8:00pm. Virtual.​​​

This one-hour virtual event is hosted by the GLREA on the first Thursday of each month. Come hear from Ann Arborites who have gone solar, and have a chance to ask them all your questions! Register for "Thursd​ay Night Energy Events" to receive meeting links.

Volunt​​eer ​​Oppo​rtunities

Would you like to volunteer with the Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations? If yes, consider joining us at one of the following: ​

  • Park Clean Up - On the second Friday of every ​month (March-November)​, OSI staff have a work day in Bandemer Park​ with GIVE365. Join us to help remove invasives, clean up trash, and even do some plantings. If you are interested in joining us for a work day, please email Melissa Schacht at A​[email protected]​.
