Resident Race to Zero Energy Challenge
July 1st - December 31st, 2022.

The Energy Challenge is a home efficiency competition in partnership with Green Home Institute. Participants will join a cohort of other Ann Arbor residents and will work to improve their home's efficiency by reducing their gas, electric, and water usage. To learn more, please visit the Energy Challenge webpage.

Sustainable Food for the Holidays
Friday, December 9th, 6:00-7:00pm. Virtual.

The holidays are full of food - and eating plant-forward dishes made with local, seasonal ingredients is a great way to make your food consumption more sustainable! Join OSI, Washtenaw Optimal Wellness, VegMichigan, and chefs Jeff Tritten and Vicki Brett-Gach for a cooking demonstration featuring plant-based holiday meal options with local and seasonal ingredients. Plus, you can help us put together an A2ZERO Holiday Recipes Booklet by submitting your own plant-forward and seasonally-focused recipes here. This booklet will also include Jeff and Vicki's recipes, and will be sent to all attendees of the cooking demonstration (we'll also post it on our website!). Register for the cooking demonstration here - the first 25 registrants will receive a free copy of the Friendly Vegan Cookbook, courtesy of VegMichigan!

Ann Arbor Solar Stories
1st Thursday of each month. 7:00-8:00pm. Virtual.

This one-hour virtual event is hosted by the GLREA on the first Thursday of each month. Come hear from Ann Arborites who have gone solar, and have a chance to ask them all your questions! Register for "Thursday Night Energy Events" to receive meeting links.
