1st Thursday of each month​. 7:00-8​:00pm. Virtual.​​​

This one hour, onl​ine event is hosted by the GLREA on the first Thursday of each month. Come hear from Ann Arborites who have gone solar, and have a chance to ask them all y​​our questions! Register for "Thursd​ay Night Energy Events" to receive meeting links.​​​​​​​​​

​3rd Annual Local Food Festival

Thursday, September 26th. 5:00-8:00pm. Ann Arbor Farmers Market (315 Detroit Street).

A community celebration of the beauty and bounty of local food & farming. Sample local foods, exchange your gently used cookbooks, purchase a meal or treat from one of our ​​vendors, enjoy live music, play games, and connect with others in the community. ​Household Electronics Takeback Event​

Saturday, October 19th. 10:00am-1:00pm. Pioneer High School (601 W Stadium Blvd​​).
Registration required. Register at https://osi.a2gov.org/ElectronicsTakeback​. 

Residents of Ann Arbor, including university students, are invited to bring old, unused, or unwanted electronics to this event to be either recycled or refurbished and reused by the City's contractor, Comprenew. ​Accepted items include ​computers,​ tablets, ​phones, keyboards, and cables. ​One television (up to 60 lbs) and one printer (up to 30 lbs) will also be accepted per household. Additional or larger ​televisions and printers, along with AV equipment, will also be accepted at an additional charge. ​​Hazardous materials will not be accepted. Would you like to volun​teer with the Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations? If yes, join us at one of the following: ​

  • Park Clean Up - On the th​ird Tuesday of each ​month (March - November) from 8:30-10am​, OSI staff have a work day in Bandemer Park​ with GIVE365. Join us to help remove invasive plants​, clean up trash, and more. If you are interested in joining us for a work day, please email Sean Reynolds at sreynol​[email protected]​​​​
