Marriage ceremonies at the 15th District Court are performed by the Magistrate in Courtroom #1 on Friday mornings at 10:30 am.  An appointment must be scheduled ahead of time; it is best to call at least one month in advance.  Marriage ceremonies may only be performed if the parties possess a valid marriage license issued in the State of Michigan.

The Court does not issue marriage licenses.  For information on obtaining a marriage license in Washtenaw County, please contact:

If the 15th District Court Magistrate is not available, the Vital Records Office maintains a list of other individuals within the Washtenaw County area who are able to perform weddings.
