Ann Arbor Awarded $3.8 Million Safe Streets and Roads For All Program Grant

Archived News Release: February 1, 2023 - ​​The City of Ann Arbor is pleased to announce that the United States Department of Transportation, through it's Safe Streets and Roads for All program, has awarded the city $3.8 million in support of goals laid out in Ann Arbor's Vision Zero transportation plan. With this funding, the city will be able to advance more Vision Zero Quick Build projects as well as refine and pilot the Speed Management Program.

The grant application was successful due to the hard work and collaboration of staff, working across disciplines, led by Raymond Hess, the city's Transportation Manager
