Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Meeting Set for June 22

Archived News Release: June 1, 2022 - ​The City of Ann Arbor is asking for public input to help update the city's Hazard Mitigation Plan. A virtual public meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. This will be the second public planning meeting of the plan development process. The purpose of the meeting will include:

  • Status of the overall plan update

  • Risk assessment findings

  • Hazard risk reduction project ideas

By completing this plan, the city not only increases its resilience to hazards, but also maintains eligibility for state and federal hazard mitigation funding.

This plan is required to be updated every five years.
