To report a crime in progress, or any emergency, please call 911 immediately. If you need an officer to respond to your location for a non-emergency report you can call 734.994.2911 x8.
Non-Emergency Reports
You can also file non-emergency reports with our Police Desk 24 hours a day. The desk is located on the 2nd floor of the Justice Center at 301 E. Huron St. Walk-in reports are welcome any time. You can also call our Police Desk at 734.794.6920 24 hours a day.
What Do You Need?
Prior to contacting the Police Desk, please be sure to have all relevant information. Providing as much detailed information as possible (names, contact information, detailed descriptions, serial numbers, etc.), allows us to follow up on reports more efficiently. If you are reporting a traffic crash, please have registration, insurance, and driver information for all involved vehicles.
