Opens April 18. The Gallup Park Meeting Room and the office are open year round.

Argo Park

Opens May 2. Go to Gallup for boat rentals when Argo is closed. 

Gallup Park Canoe & Kayak offers boat rentals plus concessions, merchandise and river-themed programs. Gallup Park (PDF) includes a 3.25-mile asphalt trail, fishing, public boat launch, playgrounds, picnic areas and pavilions, nature areas, and an indoor room available for rent. Gallup Park Canoe & Kayak also features WiFi, ice cream, baked goods and coffee with a patio overlooking the river.

Gallup Canoe & Kayak location offers kayak rentals for the longer 2.5 hour, 5.7 mile river trip. When Argo is closed in the spring and fall Gallup offers the 1.5 hour, 3.7 mile river trip.  Or paddle a kayak, kid kayak, canoe or paddleboat on the 2.5 mile Gallup Pond section of the Huron River. ​

Argo offers tube rentals and tubes for sale or you can bring your own. Float down the Argo Cascades drops and pools and either continue on down the river or stay and play in the rapids. Walk back up the paved trail adjacent to the river.​​

Argo Park offers kayak, canoe and raft rentals for the 1.5 hour, 3.7 mile river trip paddling down the current to Gallup. Or rent a kayak, canoe or stand up paddleboard on the 2-mile Argo Pond section of the Huron River or a tube to float the Argo Cascade rapids. When Argo is closed in the spring and fall go to Gallup for all boat rentals.

We offer many fun river events and programs such as River Camps for ages 7 to 14 years, River Kids for ages 2 to 7 years, night paddles, boat auctions, Huron River Day Festival, Trick or Treat on the River, kayak and SUP instruction and more. Parking in Gallup Park

Parking is limited and weekends are busy in Gallup Park. Options for parking are at adjacent Huron High School or Furstenberg Park.Argo Parking (pdf) and Furstenberg parking (pdf).

Accessible Paddlesports in Gallup Park

​The Gallup location offers an accessible boat launch that provides universal accessibility, it is simple and safe to use, so that people of all abilities can find boarding, launching and recovery a breeze. Gallup Park Meeting Room Rental​

Gallup Park Meeting Room.jpgRent the picturesque indoor meeting room for your next meeting or party. Available all year! Features include windows and patio overlooking the Huron River, seating for up to 40 people, kitchenette, accessible restroom, and WiFi. Rental fees: resident $40/hour; nonresident $50/hour. Call 734.794.6240 for more information or to reserve the room.
