Per the By-Laws of the HDC, staff and Commission members provide documentation and information about the activities of the Commission for the past year.
Each year, the Historic District Commission presents Historic Preservation Awards to property owners who have shown dedication to preservation by rehabilitating or maintaining their historic property. Please note that there were no Preservation Awards granted from 2020-2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2003, the City of Ann Arbor was awarded the 2003 Government/Institution Award from MHPN for the Downtown Ann Arbor Historical Street Exhibit Program.
