I Am A²ZERO

Celebrating residents taking action both big and small and feeling the impact of climate action across our community.

Since its adoption in 2020 the A2ZERO Carbon Neutrality Plan has precipitated vast, meaningful action throughout the community and helped enhance action already in motion. Residents featured in the I Am A2ZERO video epitomize this work, telling stories spanning from serving as environmental educators to bike commuters, to those using reusable materials. Together, these stories demonstrate that regardless how big or small an action is, it can and is having an impact. Hear residents describe their stories in their own words and share your own below!

1. Take a vertical video on your phone answering these questions:

  • What's your name?
  • What is one action you take to be sustainable or fight climate change?
  • WHY is that action important to you/WHY do you do it?

2. Finish your video with an "I Am" statement and "I Am A²ZERO!"

Example: I'm Nutmeg the Squirrel, I eat fresh berries and nuts because they're delicious, native to my home state of Michigan, and nutritious. I am a big fan of local food, and I am A²ZERO!
