New Home Resources

Thank you for taking initiative on your HES (Home Energy Score)!

A2ZERO is Ann Arbor's plan to achieve a just and equitable transition to carbon neutrality. As a part of this plan, the Home Energy Rating Disclosure (HERD) ordinance was enacted to empower new Ann Arbor homeowners to make energy efficient upgrades to their homes, improving comfort, air quality, safety, costs and climate impacts. On this page are all the resources you will need to move forward with improving your new home.

A²ZERO Home Energy Advisor

Not sure where to start? The Home Energy Advisor (HEA) program is here to walk you through the entire process. Just call or go online to schedule a free on-site or virtual home assessment.
