Controlled Burn in White Oak Nature Area Friday, April 24, 2015

Archived News Release: April 24, 2015 - There will be a controlled burn conducted in White Oak Nature Area Friday, April 24, 2015. Controlled burns are used to enhance the ecology of a site by controlling invasive plants. The fire is conducted by trained personnel and will be under control at all times. The burn will take place between approximately noon and 6 p.m.
