​404 N Ashley is a 0.37 acre site, with an office building​. The site is located in an established neighborhood with multiple family housing. The site is currently zoned D2, Downtown Interface District. ​​​​​In January 2024, City Council approved the sale of the site to the Ann Arbor Housing Development Corporation (AAHDC), a Michigan nonprofit whose sole member is the AAHC.
