RFP #250401 AAHC Project-Based Vouchers

The Ann Arbor Housing Commission is making available Project‐Based Vouchers to support affordable housing within the City of Ann Arbor. Up to 150 vouchers are available through this RFP process.

Proposals must be delivered via email to Weneshia Brand, Deputy Director, wrbrand@a2gov.org on or before June 10, 2025 2:00 P.M. (EST).

IFB #AAHC-25-2 Miller Manor Structural Repair and Roof Replacement

The AAHC is issuing an IFB to select a firm to do renovations at Miller Manor, including structural reinforcement of the balconies, replacing the roof including increasing the roof insulation, changing the access door height, tuck-pointing the masonry as necessary, replacing the solar panels, and running two radon mitigation systems with two taps each.

All proposals are due and must be delivered via email to Tom Pierce, Construction Project Manager, tpierce@a2gov.org on or before June 4, 2025, 3:00 P.M. (EST).

Section 3​

​Section 3 is a provision of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act of 1968 that helps foster local economic development, neighborhood economic improvement, and individual self-sufficiency. The Section 3 program requires that recipients of certain HUD financial assistance, to the greatest extent feasible, provide job training, employment, and contracting opportunities for low- or very-low income residents in connection with projects and activities in their neighborhoods.​
