A2ZERO Week Celebrates the 6th Anniversary of the City of Ann Arbor’s Climate Action Plan

Join the City of Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations, local business, community organizations, and community members for a week-long celebration of climate solutions and community during the 6th annual A2ZERO Week. Events throughout the week offer opportunities for everyone in Ann Arbor to connect and have fun while supporting work towards a more sustainable future.

A2ZERO Week is a celebration of the community’s work to achieve our A2ZERO goal of community-wide carbon neutrality by 2030. This year more than 30 events will take place between May 31st and June 6th. From a solar-powered movie night, all-electric home tours, an electronics collection, to climate trivia, guided tree walks, tours of the local bikeways, a mindfulness hike, to Taste of Ann Arbor, an AFC Ann Arbor game, and casual coffee hours with your Council Members, there’s an event for everyone. To see all 30+ events, times, locations and descriptions, please visit a2gov.org/a2zeroweek.

“We are honored to celebrate our 6th annual A2ZERO Week with a bevy of family-friendly, engaging, interactive, and celebratory events,” said Dr. Missy Stults, Sustainability and Innovations Director. “There are events for everyone and we hope our community will join us as we continue the critical work of equitably addressing the climate crisis.”

A2ZERO Week is possible thanks to the many volunteers, A2ZERO Ambassadors, Ann Arbor City Council Members and the Mayor, and local organizations that work directly with the Office of Sustainability and Innovations to make the week possible, including:  DXA2 Half Marathon, Common Cycle, Main Street Ann Arbor, Citizen’s Climate Lobby, Human Electric Hybrids, Community Action Network, Marquee Arts, Argus Farm Stop, Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Blom Meadworks, Mindful Awakenings, Huron Valley Human Society, BYOC Co., VegMichigan, C’Mon Betty, Washtenaw County Conservation District, Comprenew, and AFC Ann Arbor.
