2021 Summer Day Camps
Summer camp registration opened March 15.
City of Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation Services has been working hard as staff determine what in-person river day camps and pool camps can look like during the summer of 2021. The safety of campers and staff are the top priority and the state-licensed camps will abide by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, governmental recommendations and regulations. Staff are working with the State of Michigan and Washtenaw County to best understand the regulations and how to offer and implement safe and engaging camp experiences. Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation are looking forward to offering camps again this summer.
2021 Camp Refund Policy - Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Parks & Recreation will make an exception to its cancellations and refunds policies for the 2021 camp season. If our summer camps are not able to operate during the session in which your child is enrolled due to directives we receive from the Washtenaw County Health Department, the State of Michigan licensing authority, and/or any other authorized governing body, we will refund the full amount of your session fee. For the safety of staff and other participants, if your child is unable to attend the scheduled session due to the COVID-19 illness, or a COVID-19 quarantine and/or waiting period, or develop COVID like symptoms, you may request a full refund. If you need to cancel your child's registration for non-COVID related reasons, please note that the following refund policy applies: Refunds must be requested by email and are subject to a $10.00 service fee. If a refund request is made 30 days or more prior to the start of your day camp session 100% of your class fee will be refunded, 7-29 days prior 50% of your class fee will be refunded, 6 days prior 0% will be refunded.
