City Shares Holiday Schedule + Seeks A2 Snow Match Volunteers

Archived News Release: December 20, 2022 - Ann Arbor Municipal Center offices and the 15th District Court will be closed for the holidays on Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26 (Christmas Eve and Day observed), as well as Friday, Dec. 30, and Monday, Jan. 2 (New Year's Eve and Day observed). Safety services and utility operations will maintain 24-hour schedules throughout. Trash and recycling collection will continue as regularly scheduled throughout these timeframes, without any scheduled delays.

With snow in the upcoming forecast, the city encourages residents, businesses and property owners to help their neighbors and community this winter by taking care of snow and ice on sidewalks. Doing so creates a safer and more walkable community for all. Anyone interested in helping neighbors keep sidewalks clear may also consider volunteering with the city's A2 Snow Match program, which pairs helpers with nearby neighbors in need.
