Archived News Release: November 1, 2019 - The City of Ann Arbor and its nearly 40 partner organizations invite the public to participate in an exploration of what it would take for the entire Ann Arbor community to reduce climate pollution to zero (i.e., greenhouse gas emissions) in a just and equitable manner. The Carbon Neutrality Town Hall is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 13, 5:30–7 p.m. at Cobblestone Farm, 2781 Packard St., Ann Arbor, 48108.
Community members will have a chance to share their ideas, concerns and hopes for what a just transition to a clean and carbon-neutral Ann Arbor could look like. If you live, work or recreate in Ann Arbor, this town hall is for you. Space is limited for the event; those interested in attending are advised to register as soon as possible at https://forms.gle/FAx5aa6HchHwN1Q38.
