The transportation planning process, called Ann Arbor Moving Together Toward s Vision Zero, involves soliciting insight and recruiting community members to help the city establish priorities in creating clear goals, objectives and action steps to achieve the shared goal of zero fatalities and severe injuries on Ann Arbor roads. The planning process will build off of previous efforts to help the city achieve the goals set out in other documents, including the Master Plan and the Ann Arbor Climate Action Plan. Ann Arbor Moving Together Toward s Vision Zero effort will serve as an update to both the 2009 Ann Arbor Transportation Plan Update and the Non-motorized Transportation Plan. Ann Arbor's Moving Together Towards Vision Zero will continue the vision and goals established in the 20 09 plan, updating them to reflect recent changes in Ann Arbor, trends in transportation locally and nationally and the priorities gleaned through engagement with the community.
