Archived News Release: October 3, 2017 - The draft 2017 City of Ann Arbor Hazard Mitigation Plan Update is now available for public review and comment. The city is currently engaged in a planning process to become less vulnerable to hazard events, including climate change. Your participation is important!
This federally required plan, developed with funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), ensures that plan participants remain eligible for hazard mitigation project funding. Comments and questions will be received until Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, and can be directed to Rick Norman, city emergency management director, at [email protected]. Please note, comments received after state compliance review has been completed will be considered for future updates of this plan.
