Fire Station No. 3 Crews to Relocate During Construction

Archived News Release: May 19, 2015 - ​Personnel from Ann Arbor fire station No. 3 (2130 Jackson Ave.) will temporarily relocate to station No. 1 (downtown Ann Arbor) beginning Friday, May 29, while station 3 undergoes asbestos abatement. The roof at station 3 is also scheduled for replacement during this same week, weather permitting.​​​

June 8, 2015, update: Roof leaks hav​​e​​ delayed station three’s originally scheduled June 8 reopening. A new reopening date will be posted here when it becomes available. Station three crews will continue to operate from station one until then​.​ 

Regular staffing levels will be maintained.

Any updates to be shared will be posted on the fire department's website, www.a2gov.org/fire. ​
