Overview

Waymarket Park ​is a 2.93 acre park at the intersection of Waymarket Drive and Signature Boulevard near the southwestern edge of the city.  View the Ann Arbor Par​ks and Nature Areas Ma​p​​ for location context.  The park is split in two by Signature Boulevard and each half is unique.  The western side of the park offers a park bench with a tranquil view of a nearby pond. The eastern side has a playground structure and swings as well as a picnic table.

Park Notices

Unless otherwise posted per City Council resolution, when a park is closed, no person shall remain in or enter it other than to quietly sit or walk.​

Refer to Chapter 39 of the City of Ann Arbor Code of Ordinances for park regulations and rules.

Access and Parking

There ​​is limited street parking​ at the end of Waymarket Drive.

The park is accessible on foot and by bike using the sidewalks along Waymarket Dr. and Signature Blvd. ​The surrounding streets do not have bike lanes and there are no bike racks at the park. ​A paved path leads from the parking lot to the playground in the eastern half of the park.

Public Transportation

History​​​

The land that is Waymarket Park was dedicated to the city of Ann Arbor by Beztak Apartments and ​Signature Housing in 1988.
