An informal meet and greet with Council Members to discuss sustainability with their constituents.

Climate on the Menu: Sustainable Food Walking Tour: 11:00am -1:00pm, Kerrytown Farmers Market; Registration Required

Join the Ann Arbor Sustainable Food Business Coalition for a behind-the-scenes walking tour of local businesses leading the way in making Ann Arbor’s food & beverage industry more sustainable. During this guided tour, hosted by Kate McCabe and Chef Max Sussman (the dynamic duo behind Bev’s Bagels and Bog & Thunder), attendees will get an inside look at what it takes to put food on our plates while prioritizing intentional sourcing, energy-efficient operations, and zero waste goals. Plan to meet at the A²ZERO table at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market (315 Detroit Street) and will leave promptly at 11:00 am. Total walking distance: 1 mile, with extended stops along the way.

Registration will open Monday, May 11.

An informal meet and greet with Council Members to discuss sustainability with their constituents

Mindfulness Hike: 3:00-4:30 pm, County Farm Park

Join naturalist Elle Bogle and mindfulness instructor Julie Woodward for a guided hike at County Farm Park. Blending forest bathing with naturalist insight, this experience invites you to slow down, engage your senses, and discover the beauty and rhythms of the season. Hike takes place at a moderate pace for 1-2 miles total. Hikers come prepared and dressed for the weather.

Climate Board Game Night: 5:00-10:00pm, Bløm Meadworks 100 s 4th Ave

Join the Office of Sustainability & Innovations and Bløm Mead + Cider for Bløm's weekly board game night at their taproom - with a sustainability twist! Learn about our work to advance A²ZERO, see how Bløm is integrating sustainability into their operations, and challenge your friends, family, or someone you've just met to one of our fun climate-themed board games. Come by yourself or with a group!

A²ZERO Awards Ceremony: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm, State Theater 233 S State St; Registration required

Join in the celebration of climate action excellence and achievement from leading community members. These community members' actions may range big and small, but their impact is the same: huge, and absolutely necessary to achieve Ann Arbor's A²ZERO 2030 Carbon Neutrality goals. Join us for this celebration with light refreshments, remarks from Mayor Taylor, and recognition of Ann Arbor's climate leadership.
