Postponed: Friday, July 17, curbside collections of yard bags & bundled brush
Due to expected hazardous air quality conditions, the City of Ann Arbor will not collect paper yard bags and bundled brush on Friday, July 17.
The city plans to collect Friday's missed paper yard bags and bundled brush on Saturday, July 18, if air quality conditions improve. If air quality remains at unhealthy or hazardous levels, Saturday's makeup collection may also be postponed until conditions improve.
In addition, other curbside collection services that require hand loading may be delayed, depending on conditions.
Residents are encouraged to store paper yard bags in a dry location until collection can safely resume.
Regular curbside collection of trash, recycling and compost carts will continue on their normal schedule and are not affected.
Protecting the health and safety of city employees while maintaining services remains a top priority for the city. Further updates will be provided if additional service changes are needed.
