CTN Brings Home Several Philo T. Farnsworth Video Competition Awards

Community Television Network (CTN) of Ann Arbor has earned several honors at the annual Philo Festival of Media Arts Awards. This year, over 130 entries from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan were submitted for consideration.
The Philo T. Farnsworth Award is presented by the Alliance for Community Media – Central States Region in recognition of excellence in Public, Educational and Government Access TV (PEG TV). The award honors the pioneering efforts of individuals and organizations that continue to advance the use of media in communities across the region. The Philo Awards celebrate achievements in media creation, with a special focus on public access programming.
CTN will be recognized along with other awardees during the Philo Festival of Media Arts Video Ceremony, scheduled for October 14-16 in Alliance, Ohio.
CTN Producer Dana Denha shared her excitement: "I take great pride in my work at CTN, and being recognized by the Philo Festival of Media Arts for the many productions I’ve contributed to throughout the year is truly an honor. It brings me so much joy to know that the stories I’ve told have made a meaningful impact on both our local community and the Central States region."
