Applications for Eighth A2ZERO Ambassador Cohort Now Open

If you are interested in learning more about local climate and sustainability action, the A2ZERO Ambassador program is for you!

A2ZERO Ambassadors at the 6th cohort graduation.

The Office of Sustainability and Innovations is seeking applicants for the next cohort of A2ZERO Ambassadors before the February 11th application deadline. Area residents who are interested in learning about and supporting the City’s efforts to achieve an equitable transition to community-wide carbon neutrality are encouraged to apply.  

No previous experience is necessary. Applicants must be able to attend 12 training sessions held on Wednesday evenings in a hybrid format, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. To begin an application, click on this link or visit osi.a2gov.org/ambassadors. For questions, please contact Bryce Frohlich at bfrohlich@a2gov.org 

After completing the training series, A2ZERO Ambassadors will commit 20 hours of service to a sustainability initiative. “The Ambassador program has had a profound impact not only on our work, but in our community,” said Dr. Missy Stults, Director of the City of Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations. “To date, 149 Ambassadors have graduated from the program. That’s 149 community members who are bringing their ideas and experience to A2ZERO, and bringing A2ZERO into their lives and the lives of those they interact with.”
