New Services Added to Online Permitting System

Archived News Release: March 18, 2022 - The City of Ann Arbor is launching the second phase of the EnerGov permitting software it debuted in 2021. Beginning today, March 18, the system will manage the resources and processes for:

  • Building and trade permitting.

  • Right of way permits.

  • Plan submittal and review.

  • Land management.

  • Record retention.

Access to EnerGov is located at https://stream.a2gov.org.

“We have seen a vast improvement in our efficiencies over the past year," said Building and Rental Services Manager Lisha Turner-Tolbert. “Staff is looking forward to continued productivity and the enhanced customer service that will be offered with software that is designed to streamline the permitting, plan review and record retention systems. This will also give users better self-service access."

Staff from the city clerk's office, public services customer service and building services customer service are available to answer any questions, as they have been trained and have used the software.
