City Schedule for Upcoming Holiday Weeks

Archived News Release: December 17, 2021 - ​Ann Arbor Municipal Center offices and the 15th District Court will be closed for the holidays on Thursday, Dec. 23, and Friday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve and Day observed), as well as Thursday, Dec. 30, and Friday, Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve and Day observed). Safety services and utility operations will maintain 24-hour schedules throughout. There will be no interruptions in service of curbside collections during these city-observed holidays.

The city encourages residents, businesses and property owners to help their neighbors and community this winter by taking care of snow and ice on sidewalks. Doing so creates a safer and more walkable community for all to travel, exercise and keep safe distances. Last-minute Holiday Sho​​pping: Visit the Ann Arbor Farmers Market

The Ann Arbor Farmers Market is open for onsite sales Saturdays and Wednesdays, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., at 315 Detroit St. Dec. 22 is the last Wednesday market until May! You will find wreaths, centerpieces, holiday décor, gifts, apples, apple cider, winter squash, root vegetables, cabbage, herbs, bread, poultry, eggs, meat, cheese, baked goods, prepared food, bevera​ges, artisan products and more! The market accepts cash; and tokens for credit cards and SNAP/EBT/P-EBT are available at the market office window.

Updated Ice Skating Activ​​ities

There's still time to register for the New Year's Eve countdown-to-noon at Buhr Park Outdoor Ice Arena, 2751 Packard Road. Go online to sign up. Open skating also takes place noon–2 p.m. Dec. 21–Dec. 24 and Dec. 27, 29 and 30.
