City Memorial Day Schedule

Archived News Release: May 22, 2018 - ​City of Ann Arbor government offices, including the Customer Service Center at Larcom City Hall and the 15th Judicial District Court at the Justice Center, will be closed on Monday, May 28 for the Memorial Day holiday. Safety services and utility operations will maintain 24-hour schedules throughout.

There will be no trash, recycling or compost collection in the City of Ann Arbor on Memorial Day Monday. The Monday pickups will occur on Tuesday, and the rest of the collections will occur one day later throughout the week. The normal Friday routes will be serviced on Saturday, June 2. Commercial customers with weekly Saturday service through the city franchise with Waste Management will receive Saturday pickups without delays.

Recycle Ann Arbor's Drop-off Station at 2950 E. Ellsworth Road is closed on Mondays, and open weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For 24-hour information on the city's solid waste services, please visit a2gov.org/recycle.
Outdoor pools also open Memorial Day Weekend. Say hello to summer as Buhr, Fuller and Veterans Memorial Park pools open for the season. You can purchase summer season passes that are valid from May 28-Sept. 3, 2018. Passes can be used at all three pools for all public swim times and tot splashes. Passes may be purchased at all of the pools, the Parks and Recreation Customer Service Center (Cobblestone Farm, 2781 Packard Road), or renewed online by clicking “summer pool pass." Resident season passes for a family are $240 preseason and $265 regular season.
