Archived News Release: February 12, 2018 - Ann Arbor's municipal offices, including the customer service center at Larcom City Hall and the 15th Judicial District Court, will be closed in observation of Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 19, 2018. Ann Arbor's trash and recycling collection programs will provide services without interruption on the holiday Monday and throughout the week. Safety services and utility operations will maintain 24-hour schedules throughout.

Mack Indoor Pool (715 Brooks St. inside Ann Arbor Open School) — Open swimming takes place Monday, Feb. 19, noon–2 p.m. and 4–9:30 p.m. General admission rates apply.
Veterans Memorial Indoor Ice Arena (2150 Jackson Ave.) will offer open skating Monday, Feb. 19, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. General admission rates apply.
Buhr Park Outdoor Ice Arena (2751 Packard Road) Skate in the open air from noon–2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19. General admission rates apply.
Natural Area Preservation Stewardship Workday (at Foxfire West Park) — Join NAP at Foxfire West Park, Monday, Feb. 19, 1–3 p.m. This little park is nestled in a neighborhood in the northern reaches of Ann Arbor. Despite being small, the park is very diverse, with woodlands, wetlands and a sedge meadow. Help remove invasive honeysuckle and buckthorn to improve the habitat for the many species that call this area home. Meet at the park entrance on Birchwood Drive, between Hickory Point Drive and Timbercrest Court. Please dress in layers and wear shoes suitable for snow or wet ground. All participants must complete a release form, and all minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools, snacks and know-how provided.
