Parks & Recreation NEW Online Registration System Launches Feb. 1

Sign up for spring and summer programs, including day camps!

Archived News Release: January 25, 2017 - Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation is excited to announce it will debut a new recreation management system on Wednesday, Feb. 1. The new system will include a new online registration component, just in time for spring and summer registration. The Rec1 management software will improve customer service experiences with its ease of use, allow customers to more easily access their profiles, enable programming staff to better communicate with class participants and the system lets you choose whether you'd like to share the activities you register for on social media.

A few important items to note about the system include the fact that all participants new or returning, will need to create a new account when logging in to the Rec1 system for the first time. Additionally, users will not be able to register online for Session 4 learn-to-skate lessons at Veterans Memorial Park Indoor Ice Arena. You will have to call or visit the facility in person to do so (2150 Jackson Ave., 734.794.6235). The same goes for Mack Indoor Pool programming. These activities will be available for online registration in the fall of 2017.

The spring/summer 80-page Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation activity guide is now available online (http://www.a2gov.org/parks) in advance of registration opening Wednesday, Feb. 1. The activity guide features information about our  2017 Summer Day Camps and all events/programs at our park facilities from golf and kayak lessons to cultural arts activities, farmers market programs and much more. More information about the exciting transition to the new system will be available soon at http://www.a2gov.org/parks
