Avoid a fatberg invasion this holiday season

Archived News Release: November 30, 2022 - There are simple, preventative steps that can be taken to keep plumbing and sewer systems clear of clogs. A popular culprit, flushable wipes actually create blockages in household pipes and municipal sewer systems and should never be flushed down the toilet, despite “flushable" marketing claims. Likewise, facial tissue, paper towels, disposable gloves, pharmaceuticals and grease should never go down in toilets or the drain. These products can create enormous “fatbergs," which are very expensive to remove. Watch an informative and entertaining fatberg invasion video created by Jacksonville, Florida.
