The City of Ann Arbor has contracted with Strategic Government Resources (SGR) to assist efforts in recruiting and hiring a new police chief.
The search to find a recruiting firm was thorough, beginning with a request for proposal (RFP) and a team review of the responses, interviews with the organizations and reference checks of the final organizations under consideration. The RFP team consisted of representatives from the city attorney's office, human resources and the fire department.
SGR has proven experience with many national recruitments for executive-level positions, including police chiefs.
