Animal Control

Pet owners are required to comply with all city ordinances concerning animals.

Community Special Events

AAPD assistance can be contracted for community special events or filming events on city-owned property or in streets and rights of way.

The community standards section is responsible for enforcing parking violations, grass cutting, snow/ice removal and much more.

Taxi Licensing

Taxicab drivers are required to be licensed.

The City of Ann Arbor truck routes (PDF) are not all-season roadways and are subject to seasonal weight limits as defined in the Michigan vehicle code. The City of Ann Arbor imposes seasonal weight restrictions simultaneously with the Washtenaw County Road Commission.
