Under the federal Clean Water Act, passed in 1972, the City of Ann Arbor was required to and did develop a sewer system "inventory" for purposes of classification of the City sewer system under the Clean Water Act as a "combined sewer system" or a "separate sanitary sewer system." This was submitted to the the predecessor of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. I estimate the documents are from between 1980 and 1985. I request a copy of this formal "system inventory." If the documents are voluminous, I would like to inspect them first.
2. In 1988, the classification of the Ann Arbor sewer system was changed by the State of Michigan from "combined sewer system" to "separate" and/ or "wet sanitary" sewer sytem. This is recorded in public MDEQ records. request all internal communications concerning this change in "classification" and between employees or officials of the City and State officials concerning same. The fact that such changes occurred is also recited in MDEQ public documents.
3. Emails and any other Internal communications from and to Abigail Elias, Stephen Postema and Tom Kent, all of the City Attorney's Office, with any of the search terms "FBI" or "Federal Bureau of Investigation" or "FBI Report" or "Garland" or "corruption" between July 2014 and December 2015.
