2024 Huron River Day is Sunday, May 19
Enjoy the beautiful Huron River with free, family-friendly river activities during the Huron River Day festival. This event will be at
Island Park, 1420 Island Drive in Ann Arbor, Sunday, May 19, noon-4 p.m. Learn, explore and have fun celebrating Ann Arbor's wonderful freshwater with children's activities, river exhibits, music, food trucks/carts and more. Park at
Fuller Park and take a short walk through the park or ride your bike to Island park and use a complimentary bike valet provided by Common Cycle.

Have fun on the Huron River
- Dirt Doctor with water squirting lessons
- Live animals with Leslie Science & Nature Center
- The Huron-Clinton Metroparks will have its Mobile Learning Center onsite showcasing the river's natural history
- Live music under a tent next to the river
- Thirty minute nature walks (starting at the Information Tent at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.) by Natural Area Preservation

Huron River Day is a day of celebrating our community's unique and special resource. The Huron River flows through our city and provides so many benefits to our community and our environment. This scenic river is a source for drinking water, a home for the wildlife and a place for recreation, including kayaking and fishing.
