Where will early voting take place?
At “early voting sites." An early voting site will operate similarly to an election day polling location but will be set up to serve large numbers of voters, rather than a single precinct.
Where are the early voting sites?
If you are registered in the City of Ann Arbor, you can early vote in the August 5, 2025 special election at any one of the following 4 locations:

City Hall, hours: 9am - 5pm

Traverwood Library Branch, hours: 11am - 7pm

Malletts Creek Library Branch, hours: 11am - 7pm

Westgate Library Branch, hours: 11am - 7pm
The following locations are only available during even year February and November elections:

UMMA, hours: 11am - 7pm (February and November elections only)

Duderstadt Center, hours: 11am - 7pm (February and November elections only)
If you are registered in Washtenaw County, but not in the City of Ann Arbor, please go to the Washtenaw County Elections Office for information.
If you are not registered in either the City of Ann Arbor or elsewhere in Washtenaw County, please contact your local official for early voting information.
When will early voting take place?
Special Election Early Vote Calendar (including the August 5, 2025 Special Election)
Municipalities have the option to offer Early Voting during Special Elections. The City of Ann Arbor will be conducting Early Voting for 5 consecutive days beginning the Wednesday before the election and ending on the Sunday before the election. Each Early Voting Site will be open for 8 hours on those days.
State/Federal Election Early Vote Calendar
Michigan's Constitution requires cities and townships to offer early voting in each statewide and federal election for at least 9 consecutive days, beginning on the second Saturday before the election and ending on the Sunday before the election. Early voting sites must be open for at least 8 hours each of those 9 days.
