Mission Statement

Ann Arbor Housing Commission (AAHC) seeks to provide desirable housing and related supportive services for low-income individuals and families on a transitional and/or permanent basis. AAHC will partner with housing and service providers to build healthy residential communities and promote an atmosphere of pride and responsibility.

are CLOSED at this time.

The AAHC recently reviewed and approved its new utility allowance schedules for both Public Housing and Section 8. Go to the "Utility Allowance Schedules" webpage for full details (see left column).

Basic of Home Maintenance Workshops

You may rent now, but someday you may need the skills that will allow you to perform routine maintenance for your home and protect its value.  You may be landlord and want to learn more of the basics.  In either case, click here for a schedule of this year's "2011 Basics of Home Maintenance Workshops" sponsored by the Washtenaw Housing Education Partners (WHEP)

Visits to the Commission's 406 N. Ashley Office are now by APPOINTMENT ONLY.  

All payments must be mailed to 727 Miller Ave. or dropped off at Miller Manor or Baker Commons. If you have the need to make payment arrangements please contact Commission staff at 734-794-6720, ext. 47205.
