CTN Honored with Community Media Awards

Archived News Release: December 15, 2014 - ​CTN (Community Television Network) has again been recognized in the annual Alliance for Community Media Philo T. Farnsworth Awards. Philo Festival of Media Arts video contest had over 180 entries submitted this year from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.

The annual awards ceremony took place Oct. 11, 2014, at Public Media Network in Kalamazoo, honoring all the winners and finalists. This year, CTN staff and volunteer producers were recognized for the following:

First Place

  • Senior Moments, Tim Nagae, CTN Staff, Category: Seniors – Professional

  • Ann Arbor's Festifools Parade Celebration, David Chappell , Volunteer Producer, Category: Community Event Non-Professional

  • Brett Mitchell at the Grove Stage, David Chappell, Volunteer Producer, Category: Music Video, Non-professional

Finalists

  • Building Block for the Local Food Entrepreneurs, David Chappell , Volunteer Producer, Category:  Instructional Non-Professional

  • Ann Arbor's Festifools /Foolsmoon Celebration,  David Chappell, Volunteer Producer, Category: Entertainment, Non-Professional

  • New Years Eve Drop the Puck Celebration,  David Chappell, Volunteer Producer, Category: Interview/Talk Show, Non-Professional
