Online Survey Open Until Oct. 25 for Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation Open Space Plan Update

Archived News Release: October 7, 2015 - ​ANN ARBOR, Mich., Aug. 14, 2015 — The City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Open Space Plan (PROS) is being updated for 2016–2020, and input is being sought from the community. The PROS Plan is an element of the City Master Plan and provides an inventory of existing parks and facilities; describes the relationship between the park and recreation system, surrounding municipalities and recreation providers; identifies park and recreation needs and deficiencies; and proposes major capital park projects for existing and new parks based on citizen input. The community can participate in the following ways:

  • Complete the online survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SFKYXBP​ now through Oct. 25, 2015 (this is the extended survey-close date, updated 10/7). If this is not feasible, please call 734.794.6230 ext. 42590 to receive a paper copy.

  • Attend a public meeting, which will be planned for the fall of 2015. Meeting dates and locations will be shared once available. Updates will also be made to the PROS Plan Web page, www.a2gov.org/prosplan.
