Notice of Temporary Traffic Control Plan: E. Stadium Blvd. Bridges Replacement, November 28, 2011
Location and Limits of Affected Area:
E. Stadium Blvd. from Kipke Dr. to S. Industrial Hwy.
S. State St. from Stimson St. to Granger Ave.
Henry St. from White St. to E. Stadium Blvd.
Description of Work:
Demolition of the E. Stadium Blvd. Bridge over S. State St. and sanitary sewer work on S. State St. that is part of the removal and replacement of E. Stadium Blvd. bridges project.
Temporary Construction Traffic Control Plan:
E. Stadium Blvd. between Kipke Dr. and S. Industrial Hwy. will close to pedestrian and vehicular traffic on November 28, 2011. E. Stadium Blvd. will remain closed until November 14, 2012 to allow for the removal and replacement of the E. Stadium Blvd. bridges over the Ann Arbor Railroad and S. State St. Vehicular and pedestrian detour routes will be in place. Access to all properties along E. Stadium Boulevard will be maintained during the performance of the work.
S. State St. will be temporarily closed from Stimson St. to Granger Ave. between November 28, 2011 and December 13, 2011. Vehicular and pedestrian detour routes will be in place. Access to all properties will be maintained along S. State Street during the performance of the work.
Henry St. will be temporarily changed to a two-way street between White St. and E. Stadium Blvd. and between E. Stadium Boulevard and Golden Avenue (both sides of E. Stadium Boulevard.) Traffic will be permitted to travel eastbound and westbound on Henry St. between November 28, 2011 and December 13, 2011 while S. State St. is temporarily closed for bridge demolition.
Henry St. will return to its current configuration and S. State Street will be re-opened to traffic on Wednesday, December 14, 2011.
