Notice of Temporary Traffic Control Plan: BEAKES STREET (SUMMIT ST. to MAIN STREET), Daytime Closures, August 29 – September 9, 2011

Beakes Streets from Summit Street to Main Street
Description of Work:
Removal of concrete road base for road reconstruction
Temporary Construction Traffic Control Plan:
August 29 – September 9, 2011, sections of Beakes Street, between Summit Street and Main Street, will be intermittently closed during the day (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.).
Each closure will be for one block at a time:
Beakes (Summit to Fifth Ave). Expected Aug 29 – Sept 1. Traffic will be detoured via Summit to Fifth Ave to Beakes.
Beakes (Fifth Ave to Fourth Ave): Expected Sept 1 – Sept 6. Traffic will be detoured via Fifth Ave to Catherine Street to Main Street. The road will be open over the Labor Day weekend.
Beakes (Fourth Ave to Main Street): Expected Sept 6 – Sept 9. Traffic will be detoured via Fourth Ave to Catherine St to Main Street.
During this work the traffic may experience delays within the areas influenced by this work. Detour signs will be posted for this construction; however the motorists are advised to choose alternate routes. To maintain the safety of all, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work zones.
Pedestrian traffic will be maintained during this project.
