City Government Offices Closed for Independence Day; Solid Waste Operations Delayed One Day
ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 26, 2012 — City of Ann Arbor government offices, including the Municipal Center offices and Customer Service Center, the Justice Center and the 15th Judicial District Court, at 301 E. Huron in Larcom City Hall, will be closed on Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4. Safety services and water utility operations will maintain 24-hour schedules.
There will be no trash, recycling or compost collection services in the City of Ann Arbor on the July 4 holiday. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday pickups will occur one day later. The normal Friday routes will be serviced on Saturday, July 7. Commercial customers with weekly Saturday service through the city franchise with Waste Management will receive Saturday pickups without delays.
Recycle Ann Arbor’s Drop-off Station at 2950 E. Ellsworth Road is closed on Wednesdays, and open weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
