UCTV Programming Coming to Ann Arbor's CTN This Fall
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Aug. 26, 2011 — University of California Television programming (www.uctv.tv) is now available locally, on Ann Arbor’s Community Television Network's EduTV Channel 18. Beginning this fall, knowledge and achievements in science, health and medicine, and education will be shared through a wide range of programs, including documentaries, lectures and interviews.
The following program line up will air, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 6 on EduTV 18:
- Tuesdays, noon – 3 p.m. Health & Medicine: Learn the latest in cutting-edge research and healthy living.
- Tuesdays, 3 – 4 p.m. Med Ed Hour: Medical programs for health care professionals, the Med Ed Hour features a variety of medical programs aimed at physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. This program aims to expand knowledge base, update on the latest research, and in some cases, earn continuing medical education credit.
- Thursdays, 7 – 8 p.m. Teachers Pet: Professional education for teachers, "The Teacher's P.E.T." (Professional Education for Teachers) is designed to enrich the classroom experience, help teachers stay up to date on research developments in their subject areas, and prepare students (and their parents) for college.
