Ann Arbor, Michigan -- As part of the maintaining traffic strategy for the Ann Arbor Bridges Replacement Project and to serve the residents and commuters that rely on AATA for daily transportation, the following action item will be implemented on Monday, November 28, 2011:
Golden Avenue will be open to two- way traffic for Busses Only between Granger and E. Stadium. A signing and pavement marking plan to support this change has been prepared and will be implemented on November 28th along with the other necessary detour route implementation activities. All other vehicles & traffic will be only allowed to travel northbound on Golden Avenue. This action will only be used during the two-week period on November 28 to December 13, 2011 while S. State Street is closed for bridge demolition and underground utility installation. After December 13th, Golden Avenue will resume its normal one-way operation.
