To provide better services to the Ann Arbor Community, the Ann Arbor Police department now has:

  • On-line reporting 
    Several types of police reports that can now be made on-line
  • Crimestoppers (1-800-SPEAK UP)
    The Ann Arbor Police Department recently partnered with Crime Stoppers of Michigan.  As an incentive, anonymous tipsters can receive a cash reward up to $1,000 if their tip leads to an arrest
  • Crimemapping.com 
    Ann Arbor's new web-based crime mapping system.
  • Redesigned our website to better meet the needs of this community. You can now do the following on-line

        Ø   Make a police report

    Ø  Obtain a Freedom of Information Request form

    Ø  Obtain traffic crash reports

    Ø  Make a compliment or complaint about an officer or employees Complete a satisfaction survey

    Ø  Make any payments to the city (except impound fees)

    Ø  Pay a parking or traffic ticket

    Ø  Get applications, information, and brochures for the Citizen’s Police Academy and Community Emergency Response Team

    Ø  Obtain pistol purchasing application, questionnaire and procedures

    Ø  Information and forms for the Neighborhood Watch program

    Ø  Obtain all required forms and procedures for Taxi Cab driver’s and vehicle Licenses

  • We have installed the Police eDesk kiosk in the lobby that will provide a variety of services in additon to those available online 24 hrs a day
