Key things to consider for Green Fair 2009
- Washtenaw County non-profits that work on environmental issues are welcome to apply to participate in the Green Fair.
- Washtenaw County businesses that are WasteKnot Business Partners are welcome to apply to participate in the Green Fair.
- The Energy and BikeFest sections of the Fair have their own criteria for participation.
- If you are not an environmental non-profit or are not a County WasteKnot partner...please become one or the other and then apply.
- There is a deadline for application and admission to the fair - yet to be determined for 2009.
- It can rain in Michigan...folks with tents faired better during the rainy set-up in 2008.
It's a good idea to plan ahead - we typically provide one table and two chairs - you bring the rest.
- Bring one or more volunteers to help set-up, staff, and breakdown your table so you all can all enjoy a bit of the fair.
- You take care of your own parking - there is a nice garage on 4th and Washington.
- There are great food establishments on and around main street - please patronize them.
- It can be a hot evening - bring something to drink. We often provide water but can't guarantee it.
