Ann Arbor Municipal Center Construction Nearing Completion
On Tuesday, November 1, the parking lot and Larcom City Hall entrance on the north side of the building reopened on Ann Street. The permanent — and only — Justice Center building entrance will remain on Huron Street. Click here for map. In addition, the pedestrian bridge has opened on the south side of the building.
In addition, on Tuesday, November 15 construction/building and rental housing staff from the City of Ann Arbor Planning and Development Services Unit will be open for business on the first floor at City Hall (301 E. Huron Street) at 8 a.m. For nearly two years, these services have been located at the South Industrial office. The last day of service at the South Industrial office will be Monday, Nov. 14. Scheduled inspections will not be interrupted as a result of the move.
Please remember to use our e-TRAKiT online permitting system (https://www.a2gov.org/etrakit) to access planning and building records and general planning and development information. Search by permit number, contractor and case (code enforcement) records.
Or use our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System to schedule, reschedule, cancel and obtain inspection results and plan review status. STEP 1: Call 734.794.6267. Select Option 2, then Option 1 to reach IVR.
C
ity of Ann Arbor Parking Referee offices will also relocate back to the fifth floor of Larcom City Hall (301 E. Huron Street) on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Referee sessions will be cancelled on that day to accommodate the moving of staff. A new feature coming soon for customers will be the ability to pay tickets using a wireless kiosk located in the waiting area of the Parking Referee Office on the fifth floor.
Planning and development staffs — including city planners, inspectors, historic preservation, zoning and building/construction — will be located on the first floor of Larcom City Hall.

Ann Arbor Municipal Center Construction Timeline
On March 2, 2009, construction began on the new Justice Center building for the 15th District Court and Ann Arbor Police Services as well as renovation work at the current Larcom City Hall. The end of December marked the completion of a major milestone on this project with the successful relocation of the City of Ann Arbor Police Services and Probation Department into the new Justice Center building.
All construction activities and renovations at the Larcom City Hall building will be completed in November 2011. Both buildings will be referred to as the Ann Arbor Municipal Center. The new address is 301 E. Huron Street, but the mailing address will remain Post Office Box 8647, Ann Arbor, MI 48107-8647.
